QR Code Silent Tag

Our Silent ID tag is a great alternative to traditional dangle tags. No more clanks on the water dish or chewed up tags. These can slide onto most belt buckle style collars, or pinch onto clip style collars.

Collar slides will work with fabric, canvas, and some leather collars. Thick two layer leather, two layer thick canvas, and some thicker biothane collars may not work.

X Small: 33 x 16mm, 12 x 4mm opening, fits 1/2 - 3/8" collars
Small: 41 x 21mm, 16 x 4mm opening, fits 5/8" collars
Medium: 54 x 26mm, 20 x 4mm opening (small bandanas, fits 3/4" collars
Large: 68 x 34mm, 26 x 5mm opening (medium/large bandanas),  fits 1" collars

HOW IT WORKS

When you receive the dog tag, you scan it for the first time to register it. Scanning the tag for the first time will open a web page that allows you to create a free PingTag account and add your tag to it. Once your tag is added to your account, you can add your contact information like your name, email and a backup phone number, and that information will show up on the page that opens when someone scans the tag in the future.

Your tag comes with PingTag Lite membership included for life, which allows you to add more contact information to the page that opens when the tag is scanned, and to update it any time without having to change the QR code or get a new tag. For instance, if you’re traveling, you can update the contact information on the QR code to be your dog’s sitter’s phone number.

You can upgrade to a PingTag Premium membership anytime to add more information about your pet in the landing page (behavioral issues, health issues, vet’s information, etc.), add a photo of your pet, add multiple contacts to that page, and get a scan alert with the location as soon as someone scans your tag.

There is no special app required to download or install for the tag to work.
